Pinky G’s Pizzeria in Jackson Hole

Twice featured on "Diners, Drive-In’s & Dives," Pinky G’s is our mountain town’s own slice of a New York-style pizza joint.
Pinky G's Restaurant

Who doesn’t love pizza?  A slice of pie is always welcome — even on vacation — and Pinky G’s is just the place you need to visit for the best pizza in Jackson Hole. Literally, it's the best: since its opening in 2011, Pinky G's has annually been voted Jackson Hole's favorite pizzeria by locals.

The Locals’ Hangout

It's often said that if you want to know where the best and most reasonably priced food is, just follow the locals. In this case, you’ll want to head over to the Pink Garter Plaza just off the Town Square to where Pinky G’s Pizzeria is happily tucked away. Simply follow the ridiculously tantalizing aroma of hand-tossed, New York-style pizza.

Owned by longtime resident Tom Fay, Pinky G’s aims to be a laidback place for friends and families to come eat and chill “in a space that isn’t pretentious,” Fay said.

Pinky G's got its name from its location below the Pink Garter Theater, (a live performance venue). The restaurant was originally just one room with a pizza counter and ovens, much like the New York-style pizzerias the food is modeled after. Now the casual, lively eatery is much larger with plenty of seating and includes a small, elevated stage used for live music by local artists. In the summertime, a glass-paned garage-type door opens up on an exterior wall to let the breeze in. There are a couple of cornhole boards set up just outside the entrance as well.

In 2016, USA Today said Pinky G’s was, “one of the most reasonably priced restaurants in Wyoming’s highest rent town.”

“It is a fun, casual and friendly spot, and with long hours, is one of the places to eat latest in town.” - USA Today

In 2014, and again in 2024, Pinky G’s was featured on the Food Network’s “Diner’s, Drive-In’s & Dives” show during host Guy Fieiri’s tour through Jackson Hole. The pizzeria has additionally been featured in numerous magazines and other print media. Pinky G’s is also a popular late-night stop, open until 11 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. It's also become a favorite lunch spot due to lunch specials. In a nod to the authentic, thin-sliced Big Apple-style pizza, triangles of yumminess are served on sheets of wax paper.

Pizza With a Funky Twist

The creative topping combinations are what have made Pinky G’s so popular with both locals and visitors — like Guy Fieiri. The TV host featured Pinky’s “Funky Chicken” pizza on his show, which is topped with roasted chicken, artichoke hearts, red onions and ricotta cheese, all set on a spread layer of made-from-scratch pesto.

“Pinky G’s is simply excellent! Had lunch here twice (so far) during our week stay in Jackson Hole. The pizza slices are above average size. The crust is legit. The service is prompt. Reasonably priced… You won't be disappointed.” - A reviewer on TripAdvisor.

Other pizzas on the menu have such monikers as “Godzilla” (spicy sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon and hand-made meatball), “BBQ Porky G'ZA” (Kurobuta pulled pork, red and green peppers on a tangy barbecue sauce base) and “Flyin’ Hawaiian” (pineapple, Canadian bacon and fresh sliced jalapeños). You can also build your own pie from a long list of ingredients like ricotta and feta cheese, buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil pesto, roasted garlic and herb oil, spinach, mushrooms, black olives, pulled pork, pepperoni, roasted chicken, and anchovy.

More Than Pizza

In addition to pizza, Pinky G’s offers several appetizers including chicken wings — which are a best seller and available many ways (hot Buffalo, BBQ, or spicy honey) — plus mozzarella sticks, salads, calzones and strombolis. A full bar with Moscow mules, house margaritas, and local beers.

“We were in Jackson Hole only two days, but ate at Pinky G’s twice.” - a reviewer on TripAdvisor

Large, flat-screen TV’s line the brick walls of the restaurant featuring various sporting events. Seating includes both high tops and lower tables. Live music is offered with performances from some of Jackson Hole’s favorite musicians.
